For the past 21 years, a group of civic-minded young professionals who call themselves the Winston-Salem Jaycees have joined forces with businesses and organizations throughout the city to bring Winston-Salem a parade filled with holiday cheer and glad tidings. These young leaders aged 21-41 plan and promote the parade while developing leadership skills and serving their community.
This year is no exception! This year’s project chairs are Kami Periman and Jennifer Kiger, and they are joined by a team of volunteers to help produce the parade. Please check back frequently on our Home page where we will be listing the entries as they arrive. We hope you’re business or organization will register to join us on Saturday, December 3!
New to the 2011 Winston-Salem Jaycees Holiday Parade are our Competitions & Contests. These new additions will surely make this year’s parade a thrilling and spectacular experience!
Once again the Winston-Salem Jaycees will be partnering with the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership to bring you the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony directly following the parade.
